In headless mode, you have full access to the Slyce SDK API to perform all the functions to integrate Slyce's visual search, image matching scanner, and barcode scanner into your application. In headless mode, you have full control over the UI of your application. You utilize the public methods exposed on the Slyce SDK to perform searches.
The Slyce SDK works by creating a new local search task for each search request. Depending on the search type you will either pass in a stream of images from the camera or a single image. Passing a stream of images will enable the Slyce SDK to take advantage of various local scanners to automatically detect barcodes or images matches in the frame. If you are not utilizing the barcode scanner or image matching scanner, you can pass a single image which will be processed by the visual search workflow.
When you initiate a local scanner, you will pass a reference to your camera. If you already have a camera in your application, we recommend passing your camera into the Slyce Scanner, and we will listen for the various streams.
